• I am required by law to report the case of suspected child, dependent adult or elder abuse to the appropriate authorities.

• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

• If a client intends to harm himself/herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. At the same time, I may need to take further measures without client's permission to ensure his/her safety if necessary.
